Your licence, for life

When you buy ConTess, the licence is yours to keep. There is no subscription, nothing expires, and there is no voluntary refund window, because once it is yours, it stays yours. This sits alongside your statutory rights, which it does not replace or reduce.

1. All sales are final

A ConTess licence is a one-time purchase, delivered immediately as a digital product. We do not offer a voluntary money-back period. Please make sure ConTess is right for you before you buy, the requirements are listed on the pricing page and in the terms.

2. Please check the requirements before buying

The most common reason to regret a software purchase is a requirement that was not met, so they are worth reading twice. ConTess needs macOS 14 or later on Apple silicon, a Fleet-API-capable Tesla, a free Tesla developer account you create yourself, and a web address you control for a small verification file. All of it is on the pricing page and in the terms.

3. If something is wrong with the software

This is different from changing your mind. If ConTess is faulty or not as described, your statutory rights apply and are not touched by anything above: under EU and Romanian consumer law you are entitled to a remedy. Email support@contess.app and we will put it right.

4. Your statutory right of withdrawal

As a consumer in the EU you normally have a 14-day right of withdrawal from a distance contract. For digital content delivered immediately, that right is lost once delivery begins if you consented to immediate delivery and acknowledged losing it, which is what the checkout asks you to confirm before you pay.

5. Payments and chargebacks

Payments run through Paddle, our merchant of record. If you think something has genuinely gone wrong with a charge, email us first: we would far rather put it right with you directly than through a bank chargeback, which costs a fee and takes you longer.
